Dana Engineering's organizational process, "Values Mapping™," helped to resolve conflict between stakeholders by involving them early in the process. The approach that Dana Engineering used allowed participants to identify the "Characteristics of Outstanding Land use of the Kennewick Airport". The outcomes provided criteria with which alternatives were then successfully evaluated. This Values Mapping™ exercise received strong praise from the City Manager of the City of Kennewick, WA.
