Umatilla Army Depot Reuse Authority

From our branch office in Umatilla, Oregon; Dana Engineering is currently leading the Dana Mission Support Team's redevelopment planning efforts at the Umatilla Chemical Depot.  We are assisting with the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC) planning and assessments that will transition the base ownership from Federal to local.

The Defense Base Realignment and Closure process requires that a plan be developed that considers all of the assets and infrastructure on the land before a property transfer can take place. The Dana Mission Support Team will assist with a broad-scale analysis of the assets of Umatilla and Morrow Counties in planning for the future re-use of the land.

The Dana Mission Support Team is comprised of experts in engineering, environmental analysis, and social and economic development planning. The Dana Mission Support Team is pleased to serve as a conduit for information from the communities surrounding the Umatilla Chemical Depot to the Local Re-use Authority.

Dana Mission Support Team works for the Umatilla Army Depot Reuse Authority.  The Umatilla Army Depot Reuse Authority is the identified Local Re-use Authority (LRA) and is responsible for working with the Army to determine the fate of the property after the demilitarization and decommissioning is complete. The LRA is comprised of Umatilla County, Morrow County, Port of Umatilla, Port of Umatilla and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and two ex-officio State Representatives.
