Dana Engineering conducted an assessment of preparations by the Independent Installation Inspector/ Professional Engineer (IQRPE) subcontractor at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant (WTP). The subcontractor provides the independent certifications that the construction and installation of the WTP facilities and equipment are adequate.
Dana Engineering assessed compliance to certification requirements per RCRA Subpart C and the Washington Dangerous Waste rules, WAC 173-303. Other tasks were also to review and analyze the effectiveness of the Corrective Action Program and to assess programs that DOE Office of River Protection and Bechtel National, Inc. have established to certify installation and construction of the WTP.
